Dearest Folks at Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County,

My family and I can’t thank you enough for all you did to care for our mother. You helped make the last days of her life have more joy and peace than anything we could do.

She really appreciated all the special attention and love given so freely to her. She was just beside herself with the pleasures and caring you provided - the rides you provided around to places where loved ones used to live, and the stories of happiness and peace. It helped her prepare for what was ahead without fear or anxiety.

The Evensong singers are to be praised for the wonderful music you bring to families going through the hardest time in their life. Music brings so much comfort.

Fall 2019 Support Groups

For the Fall 2019, we’re trying something new ..... 
Support Groups Designed to Fit Your Schedule. 

Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County’s Fall Support Group Series will begin in mid-October, with times to be arranged according to participants' schedules unless otherwise specified.  Groups to be offered are:

  • Widows, Widowers and Partners
  • Grieving the Loss of a Loved One to Drug Overdose 
  • Parents and Grandparents who are grieving the loss of a child (of any age)
