How to Borrow

Stop by our office, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:30pm, to check out any of our books. No library card is necessary to borrow from our collection. Simply find the book(s) that resonate with you, sign them out, and return them when you’re ready, ensuring that others may also benefit from their wisdom. Our goal is to foster a community of sharing and support.

A Space for Reflection

Feel free to settle into one of our inviting spaces, whether it’s the comfortable living room or the sun-filled sunroom. These areas are designed to offer you a tranquil environment where you can take your time browsing through our selection and discovering the right book or two to accompany you on your journey.

The sunporch at the HVHC office is a peaceful place to pause and read.

The living room is warm and inviting and a wonderful place to sit with a book.

Books can be powerful allies in times of need, and we hope you find the support you seek within our shelves. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Donations

Do you have a book to donate on end-of-life topics or grief and loss? Consider donating them to our library. Books must be in very good condition or like new to be donated and must encompass these topics. We can only handle a few books at a time and ask that they be more recent books (within the past 10-years).
