Hospice of Hancock County is funded by
private donations, grants and community fundraising events. The
organization receives no federal or state funding. All services are given
freely and without charge. We welcome your support.

The devotion and consistent support of our friends are vital to Hospice
of Hancock County. As a non-profit volunteer organization, all of the
services we offer are provided free of charge. We do not receive any
federal or state support to assist us in caring for those facing the end
of life. Thus, we are dependent on contributions from our friends to
support our ongoing programs. Financial donations ensure that we can
continue to provide the highest quality patient care and bereavement
services to the residents of Hancock County.

Cash Donations
Cash donations are the most common way people make a gift to Hospice,
and are immediately put to use supporting our programs. Donations may be
made by check (payable to Hospice of Hancock County), or charged to Visa
or Mastercard.
Matching Gifts
Many organizations and companies have programs in place that will match
your gift, maximizing your support. Under this program you are
recognized for the full value of both gifts. Check with your company
about this option.
Gifts of Appreciated Securities
Donation of publicly traded stocks that have appreciated in value and
held for more than twelve months allows you to take a deduction for the
fair market value of the stock, while avoiding capital gains penalties.
